SUB Open Mic Night Crawling With Talent Scouts

 

 

Last night the Student Union Board hosted another one of their bi-weekly open mics. As always, it was just swarming with both talented students and, of course, talent scouts. It is a well-known fact that agents from all over the country make the trek to Ames, Iowa, to see how awesome Iowa State talent is. Said Iowa State dropout, now professional juggler, John Maslow, ”I went up juggled for like 4 to 6 minutes and by the time I walked off stage scouts had a 4.5 million dollar contract ready for me.”. As anyone who has attended these mics will tell you, the talent is unparalleled here in Ames, numerous Iowa State students receive offers from Hollywood every mic; few are willing to drop out of college to pursue a life of easy wealth and fame. While talent scouts do their best to make humble students famous, they often come up short when dealing with dedicated and academic students here at ISU.
