ISU Greek Week is a beloved time of the year celebrated by many Greek-Americans. While the Office of Multicultural Affairs puts on many events each year to promote diversity none is surprisingly as well received as Greek Week. ISU prides itself in having students from all over the world but has a low number from the small European country of Greece. This year Greek students have elected to celebrate the budding and promising career of the Milwaukee Buck’s Giannis Antetokounmpo. Giannis is having a hot season and is on track to be the NBA’s Player Of The Year. Many refer to him as the “Greek Freak”, because he is from Athens, Greece. This year Greek Week’s theme is  “Freak Week For The Greek Freak” various events will be held across campus to highlight Greek culture, including, Percy Jackson readings, olive tastings, and Toga Tuesday.
