StuGov To Debate Snapchat Filters. Cool Or Not Cool?

In the upcoming StuGov meeting, the Senate will be deep in discussion debating whether or not Snapchat filters are a cool and fun trend or a lame and dated fad that people use solely to cover up how ugly they really are. While many members of the student body have strong opinions on this, StuGov has made it their sole responsibility to go back and forth on this topic for at least 40 minutes. In a pre-meeting interview with centrist Senator, Bridget Jefferson, she had a few thing to say, “While dog filters will always be a classic to me, I cannot, and will not stand for other temporary filters that just make peoples face look gross”, further stating, “I want Iowa State Students to look good, not as they belong in a funhouse mirror”. Other items that will be discussed at this Wednesday’s meeting: why sidewalk lighting is important, ways to blow $5,000 on a few desks, and 20 small clubs will wait for their minor budget requests to get rejected.
